Solutions Specialist, Communications and Collaboration

This role will serve to align regional practice activity of the Communications and Collaboration solution practice and its associated vendors. Although this role is a regional role, availability to assist in other regions as directed will be required.

Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support

  • Work with the other Advanced Solutions practices to provide support for multi-practice opportunities as directed by the Advanced Solutions Director

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Engage in regular communication and feedback with customers and practice vendors

 

Solutions Development

  • Work with the Principal Consultants from all practices to support Proposal and Statement of Work development
  • Align with practice specialization and regional practice sales GM quota, measured on GM quota and PS people utilization
  • Participate in local or regional coverage where needed, as directed by the Advanced Solutions Director
  • Participate in Sales CAM meetings organized by Sales Directors at all locations within the region
  • Participate in National Practice meetings to align regional practice activity to solution practice capability and capacity

Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-vendor technology

  • Post-secondary education in Sales or Information Technology is an asset

  • Industry certifications desired

  • Excellent customer facing skills with strong verbal, written, and listening skills

  • High organization and multi-tasking skills

  • Professionalism, confidence, business case analytical skills, presentation skills, and time management skills required

  • Preference for having knowledge and experience selling Cisco, Palo Alto,Trend Micro,Hp networking, and / or Microsoft based application, desktop and systems and management solutions.

  • College or University education and/or over two (2) years of related job experience in the sales and delivery of complex IT solutions.

  • Preference for experience in providing value propositions to C-Level executives

  • Strong verbal, presentation, and technical writing communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with the ability to transfer / share knowledge to other team members and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
  • Have the desire and ability to be creative and think “outside of the box” when required.
  • High level of integrity and honesty
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
