Enterprise and Security Architect

Overview

Reporting to the VP IT, this role has responsibility for planning, designing and leading the implementation of Compugen’s Enterprise and Security Architecture.   The successful candidate will be a “hands-on” subject matter expert & leader who understands the complexities & interplay of infrastructure technology at an enterprise-level in a multi-location environment in order to attain business goals. Significant recent experience in both architecting & implementing solutions to attain these objectives is a must. The ability to prioritize within a dynamic and growing business environment is mandatory.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

    • Work with Compugen’s Managed Services & Professional Services stakeholders to optimize the existing & future states of Compugen’s internal IT infrastructure & leverage this for development of same across its enterprise. Scope, design, and manage ongoing infrastructure improvement initiatives to strengthen stability, performance, and capacity with both current & future states in mind
    • Lead through development, implementation, and maintenance of Compugen’s overall security infrastructure including security certifications such as ISO-27001 and industry and government specific security certifications including requisite training plans 
    • Develop and maintain & continuously enhance a technology roadmap for existing and future services. This will include all datacentre infrastructure and support for a hybrid environment as well as end user technology standardization.
    • Present proposed plans & corresponding end-state to executive management as required
    • Maintain Compugen’s telecommunications environment including performance management, coverage/capacity management and cost management
    • Ensure that technology components of Compugen’s Business Continuity Plan are accurate, up to date and tested on an annual basis
    •  Act as a SME to develop content for RFP responses on IT infrastructure issues with external clients in mind

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in architecting/designing solutions and no more than 1 year removed from implementation within a large, multi-location organization with 500+ user base
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, & HP are preferred
  • Knowledge and experience working with a variety of infrastructure technologies and protocols such as VoIP, LAN/WAN’s, virtualized infrastructure (vSphere), next generation firewalls, SAN’s, iSCSI networks, SCCM
  • Strong understanding of Business Continuity, DR, & security frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, SOC, and NIST
  • Solid understanding of cloud offerings and services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
  • Solid understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent business communication skills with strong verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Professionalism, confidence, business case analytical skills, presentation skills, and time management skills required
