The Technical Services Representative plays a key role to our organization’s success.
Support of the retail environment, particularly restaurants and gas station environments
Onsite repair or replacement of POS devices, printers and peripherals such as pinpads and barcode scanners
Diagnose and repair software applications and Operating System support
Performing complex FRU repairs to colour and monochrome printers and MFP devices
Performing complex repairs to desktop and notebook devices at a customer site such as laptop system boards, desktop power supplies
Deployment of upgraded systems into the corporate and/or retail environment
New facility/store fit up as and when required
Performing complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
Performing network connections for desktops and printers
Providing timely updates to all service incidents
Completing and submiting all necessary forms, completion records and paperwork as deemed neccessary by the specific clients
Must be able to follow and perform all steps within a complex set of procedural documents
College or University education in Electronics, Computer Science or Computer Repair and Support
A+ Certification and MCP - highly desirable
One (1) year of related job experience
Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office tool sets
Experience deploying devices with Windows 10 and Office 365
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
A sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
Ability to diffuse tense customer situations and project a positive, confident outlook
High level of integrity, honesty and professionalism
Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately
Good time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Must be available to work shift work and weekends
