The debate continues on whether iPads and similar tablets are really meant for the enterprise workplace. As security practices improve the ability to bring these devices and other personal items into the office environment, BYOD (bring your own device) gets more comfortable for the IT department. Currently the rules around BYOD discourage people from bringing their personal devices into the infrastructure. People are generally concerned about their personal information being subjected to the necessary security practices within the enterprise. While people and the enterprise are still cautious adopting these devices, it’s believed that resistance is waning. http://www.infoworld.com/d/consumerization-of-it/ipad-over-hyped-in-the-enterprise-199561?page=0,0
