This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Compugen Finance Inc. as a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) through their Green4Good program. This award-winning sustainability program helps organizations securely and responsibly dispose of used IT assets while generating value that can be donated to charities.
The Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program recognizes large refurbishers worldwide that supply refurbished computers and servers with genuine Microsoft software preinstalled to businesses, consumers and non-profits. This enables Microsoft to work with large refurbishers to license genuine software on refurbished computers for the commercial market.
The Green4Good program offers Canadian enterprises an effective way to solve end-of-life IT asset disposition challenges. Through technology reuse and recycling, the value earned allows companies to contribute to charities, purchase new equipment or fund a social program that they may be a part of. Today, over 1,600,000 IT assets have been diverted from landfills with more than 155 charities supported along the way.
