Richmond Hill, Ontario (24 October 2016)--Compugen was awarded a Bronze award for best Enterprise Solution, and a Silver award for the best Mid-Market Solution at the 2016 Channel Elite Awards (CEA). The Channel Elite Awards are a showcase of Canadian Information and Communications Technology excellence. Winners are selected by an expert panel that compares the nominations across several dimensions including innovation, technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Being selected as a winner is a distinct honour and demonstrates that Compugen is once again ranked among the best in Canada for completing distinguished, innovative technical work for satisfied customers.
“Today’s solution provider has evolved to become the trusted advisor for IT. This group of innovative technology companies continues to provide Canadian businesses with a competitive advantage when it comes to cloud, mobility, security, managed services and more,” said Paolo Del Nibletto, editor of CDN - Computer Dealer News, Canada’s No. 1 IT Channel publication and web site.
Compugen’s Silver Mid-market award reflects stellar design and implementation of a VDI solution using virtualized storage to enable better support for a mobile workforce at an Alberta-based oil and gas company.
The Bronze award in the Enterprise category was for creative technical work that allowed Compugen to create a virtualized storage solution leveraging a fabric redesign over dark fibre, to improve service delivery and reduce downtime for an innovative municipality.
