Compugen was honoured today to receive the Diamond Award for a Solution Supporting Sustainability by Canadian Dealer News (CDN) for work done as part of their Green4Good program. This award-winning program helps organizations securely and responsibly dispose of IT assets while generating value that can be donated to charities.
The Green4Good program offers Canadian enterprises an effective way to solve end-of-life IT asset disposition challenges. Through technology reuse and recycling, the value earned allows companies to contribute to charities, purchase new equipment or fund a social program that they may be a part of. Through the program, over 1, 600, 000 IT assets have been diverted from landfill with more than 155 charities supported along the way.
